Television broadcasts are a common feature of human culture on Earth in the 20th century, and over the past three decades television has had a slight but growing influence on Eamon.

Travelers journeying to Earth through the Aua or Londinium rifts immediately encounter televisions displaying various local broadcasts. These broadcasts radiate through the rifts into Eamon and are detectable anywhere in their near vicinity. Experiments with terrestrial devices brought back to Evenhold have shown that the signals traversing the rifts are viewable, and researchers have begun to unlock the principles of the devices' operation.

Only a few televisions exist in Evenhold capable of receiving the broadcasts, and run only at certain times and for short periods (since they're powered by batteries that must be charged on Earth). Demonstrations draw curious crowds, with programs like The A-Team and Coronation Street attracting considerable interest.

In Evenhold four separate transmissions are viewable from the Aua Rift: WOI, KCCI, KDIN, and WHO. Three radiate from the Londinium Rift: BBC1, BBC2, and Channel 4.
