You're relaxing one day in the Harbor District of Evenhold, watching the sailing vessels come and go, when you notice the arrival of the Darkmist, a ship of uncertain origin that for some reason makes you feel uneasy.
Some of the crew disembark, and a little while later one appears beside you.
"Ever want to sail?" he wheezes between rotted teeth. Before you can answer, he hits you over the head with a blackjack.
You awaken some time later in a cell onboard the ship. You've been shanghaied!
