The low, southern peaks of the Horn Belt are known to locals as the Mountains of Chakaal and have been for many years the home of the legendary Amazon warrior Chakaal, who informally rules the area as its warlord. Opposed to pillaging but fond of combat and adventure, Chakaal and her compatriots often help defend locals against raids by the region's more violent barbarian clans.
