The Marebook is a river in the Kingdom of Evenhold that flows south through the provinces of Wealdshire and Frukendorf. It begins in the northern ridges of Marewood Forest and wends its way 25 miles south through the woodland, then travels another 30 miles south across the open coastal plains and empties into the Malphigian Sea about 10 miles northeast of Kathros.
The river has many wide, shallow areas that allow for easy fording, and it's known for its clear waters and abundant fish.
