The First Ruin.
Driven by the wakefulness of the Great Old Ones, the evil and undead beings of Eamon rise and threaten Tasavalta, but Nuorgam is gone and the Sword of Inari nowhere to be found. Deprived of its protector, the nation is overrun and its people slaughtered. As a final vindictive act, the old gods collapse the very land that Tasavalta stood on, sinking it into the sea.
