The Curse of Talon is a deadly affliction endemic to the lands west of the Great Mountains of Addar, deliberately unleashed by the last king of Cyrak when his kingdom fell to the invading forces of the Ilvithri in 900 YA. The plague is contagious and extremely dangerous to humans; other races are mostly immune to its effects but can nevertheless act as carriers.
