Like the dingey town that surrounds it, Hogarth Castle is named for the House of Hogarth, a noble family whose members have held lordship over the area for centuries. The castle's current lord is Kennard Hogarth, a callous, selfish man who routinely abuses his impoverished vassals and peasants.
